F.C. Copenhagen qualified for the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 after finishing second in Group F, behind Lokomotiv Moscow.

The Danish side finished the group stage with nine points, two less than Lokomotiv Moscow. They were tied with FC Sheriff, but advanced on goal differential.

Before playing in the Europa League group stage, Copenhagen played the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Champions League. They were eliminated in the final round by FK Qarabag.
