Enrique Cerezo and Miguel Ángel Gil attend the launch of the first commercial Riyadh–Madrid flight
Our president and chief executive officer joined Riyadh Air, our main partner, for the inaugural ceremony marking the launch of the new return service linking the capitals of Spain and Saudi Arabia.
This morning, Terminal 1 at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport hosted the inaugural ceremony for the first commercial flight between Riyadh and Madrid, operated by Riyadh Air, our main partner. The Saudi airline, which also holds the naming rights to our stadium, has officially launched its Riyadh–Madrid and Madrid–Riyadh services, which will now operate with four return flights per week.
Our president, Enrique Cerezo, and our chief executive officer, Miguel Ángel Gil, joined Riyadh Air CEO Tony Douglas for the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony. On behalf of the entire Rojiblancos family, Atlético de Madrid would like to congratulate our partner Riyadh Air on this historic milestone for the airline, which will connect Madrid and Riyadh in just six hours.
