Elías Mendes undergoes a thorough physical exam

As is usual, and after landing in Madrid early on Monday morning 20 December, Elías Mendes passed a physical examination before wrapping up his signing with Club Atlético de Madrid. This medical exam, which took place at the ‘Clínica Universitaria de la Sociedad de Prevención de Fremap’ in Las Rozas and the Clínica Fremap in Majadahonda, was completely satisfactory. The Club Atlético de Madrid Chief of Medical Services, Doctor José María Villalón, was in charge of performing the physical.
This complete medical check-up lasted around three and a half hours, and consisted of a complete analysis (blood and urine), radiological map of the locomotor apparatus, abdominal ultrasound, prostate ultrasound, cardiologic investigation (electrogram, cardiogram), spirometry, air-conduction audiometry, opthalmological exam and strength test. The player was also submitted to a nutritional, anthropometric and foot study.
