Diego Costa suffers an injury to the back of his left thigh
Our striker was subbed off in the 62d minute after suffering a muscular injury.
Diego Costa had to be taken off in the 62nd minute and replaced by Fernando Torres in our match against Sporting CP in the José Alvalade. After undergoing initial exams in Lisbon, Costa has been diagnosed with an injury to the back side of his left thigh.
Once in Madrid, he’ll undergo more medical exams to understand the severity of the injury,
