Defeat at the Camp Nou
Carrasco put our team ahead, but Barcelona turned the game around in the first half. Dani Alves made it 4-1 and Luis Suárez made the final 4-2.
Atlético de Madrid started very well at the Camp Nou, scoring the first goal of the game through Carrasco after a pass from Luis Suárez. But Barcelona equalized two minutes later, in the 10th minute, with a volley by Jordi Alba after a cross from Dani Alves. Our team continued trying to disturb Ter Stegen and, in the 20th minute a pass from De Paul to João Félix ended with a shot by the Portuguese who was very close. The one that would be right was Barcelona the next minute, when Gavi scored after a cross from Adama.
Shortly after, a header from João Félix would arrive, but Ter Stegen stop it. And, in the 36th minute, a center by Lemar ended with a header by Savic that narrowly missed the right post of the Barça goal. But Barcelona's punch was decisive because Araujo scored the 3-1 in the 43rd minute, after picking up a rebound from the crossbar at Piqué's header. With this result, we reached the half time, but shortly after the start of the second half it would be 4-1, with the goal of Dani Alves.
Our team continued looking for the goal and Carrasco, in a lateral free kick that launched directly at the goal, Ter Stegen cleared for a corner. And in the 58th minute the goal of hope would arrive. Luis Suárez headed a Cunha header into the net. A 4-2 that would be the final result despite the Atletico's attempts after the expulsion of Dani Alves 20 minutes before the end of the game.
