De Gea: 'When Forlán scores a goal all of the doubts that people have about him will cease”
The goalkeeper assured that they have a very nice week ahead
David De Gea was one of the protagonists of the awards given out by the Community of Madrid. After receiving his award as best sports prospect, he attended to the media and spoke. “It’s an award for the hard work and the effort I’ve made. It’s an honour to receive it and I’m very thankful to the Community of Madrid. I’m happy that Enrique Cerezo attended; he’s always there, accompanying us,” assured the player.
The ‘rojiblanco’ squad will face Almería on Sunday in a match that could serve as the stage for the reappearance of Domínguez. “He’s been training normally, he’s very important for the team and I hope that he can play as soon as possible,” said the young netminder, who also analysed the current form of Forlán, assuring that “he’s training at the highest of levels, giving his all and when he scores a goal, all of the doubts that people have about him will cease.”
Concerning another of his teammates in the dressing room, Kun Agüero, De Gea stated that “he’s a key player for us; he’s a star.”
With respect to the forthcoming fixtures for the team, the keeper said that “it’s a nice week, with lots of matches. First Almería is coming, then we’re playing against Rosenborg, and we finish the week against Real Madrid, although the first thing that we’re thinking about is the clash against the side from Andalusia.”
