David De Gea & Dominguez conquer European (2-0)

Milla’s team outclassed Switzerland with a spectacular performance

Spain has a bright future full of promise, having already won the Euros and the World Cup it can now add the Under-21s UEFA European Cup to it’s titles. The new generation will soon be knocking on the door of the first team, assuring us of a bright future, with a host of players who already excel in their clubs and for the national team.

Atlético de Madrid has two top representatives in this Under-21s team, De Gea and Dominguez, have excelled since the first game against England until the final against Switzerland. It took 41 minutes until the arrival of the first goal, a touch of genius from Ander Herrera. During the second half they had the game under control but we were made to wait for the crowning goal scored by one of the best players in the squad, Thiago. With 8 minutes to go in the final whistle he let go with a 30 yard drive to send the Spanish delirious.

De Gea and Dominguez started the game, putting in good performances in a game which united a generation of footballers and allowed us to dream of an even brighter future to the one we’re currently living. Adrian also took the title of top scorer with five goals.
