Dani Martínez becomes first team member
The Zaragoza-born player, who made his first team debut last April, has signed a contract extension until 2030 and will play for Diego Pablo Simeone’s side.
Dani Martínez is now an Atlético de Madrid’s first team player. The Zaragoza-born footballer, who is starting his seventh season at our club, has signed a contract extension until 2030 and will play under Diego Pablo Simeone.
The defender joined our Academy in 2020 from Real Zaragoza. After starting out with the Madrileño Juvenil A side, he has progressed steadily to reach the first team. Last season he played 33 matches for our reserve side, and his strong performances earned him a first team debut last April against Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. This season he played the full 90 minutes in the opening league match of the campaign against Málaga.
