Crucial Champions League game at home
The European competition is back as we take on Levekusen on Wednesday at 9pm CET.
On Wednesday at 9pm, the Champions League returns to the Cívitas Metropolitano. Atleti and Bayer Leverkusen face each other again. The match will be directed by the French referee Clément Turpin, with Jérôme Brisard at the VOR.
After last matchday, everything is still to be decided in the group. With the German team in such an advantageous position, this match is crucial. With a chance for revenge, we will be looking for a win to tighten up the group again and get three vital points.
After our important win against Betis at the Benito Villamarín thanks to a Griezmann brace in our last LaLiga match, we recieve the German team in our stadium after Leverkusen got a draw at home (2-2) on matchday 11 of the Bundesliga against VfL Wolfsburg.
The record between the two clubs: three wins, three draws and three defeats. The last match played at our home ground against the German team, in the 19/20 season, ended in a 1-0 win at the Cívitas Metropolitano thanks to a Morata goal.
