THE GOALKEEPER HIGHLIGHTS THE GREAT WORK OF THE WHOLE SQUAD IN MALAGA

Courtois: "We have to keep adding points, game by game"

The Belgian goalkeeper says his team played a good game without suffering from the effort put in on Wednesday in Seville.

Thibaut Courtois kept a clean sheet against Malaga, his fourteenth of the season so far. For the Belgian, Atletico were better despite having fewer days to prepare. "I think we played well. We missed chances to score. On Wednesday we played a tough match against Sevilla so it was not easy today," he said in mixed zone.

After facing the fourth-placed side, the team leaves La Rosaleda 14 points ahead of Malaga and 15 over Valencia but the only concern in the rojiblanco changing room is to continue doing what they’ve been doing all season. "We're fine. We look at ourselves. We have to keep scoring points, game by game and we'll see where we finish in the league. Our objective is the Champions League," said the young goalkeeper, who with an average of 0.80 goals conceded per game, is leading the Zamora Trophy table.
