Correa signs contract extension until 2026
The Argentine, who joined our club in 2014, will continue at Atleti for the next four-and-a-half years.
We’re delighted to announce that Ángel Correa has signed a contract extension with our club until 2026. The striker, who joined Atleti in 2014, has made 305 appearances for our club.
The Argentine international made his debut with our club on Aug. 25, 2015 against Las Palmas. Seven seasons later, the striker has produced 53 goals and 51 assists at Atleti. The last two goals he scored were against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday. He also netted a vital goal in our LaLiga success last season – as he scored the equaliser in the final match day against Valladolid. Apart from the league title, Correa has also won the Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup at our club.
