UCL | MATCHDAY 4

Champions League action is back at the Cívitas Metropolitano

Our team faces the Scottish side in the matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League Group Stage.

Atlético de Madrid and Celtic FC will meet again this Tuesday, starting at 9pm, at the Cívitas Metropolitano. Our stadium will be Red & White for the second home clash in the top European competition in the current season. After the draw in Scotland (2-2), our team will be looking for the three points in order to get closer to a place in the Round of 16, while the Scottish side are in need of victories to keep their chances in Europe.

This historic duel will be decisive for both teams, which are also on a great run of results. Simeone's men are unbeaten in six of last seven matches in LaLiga and have not yet lost in Europe, with five points from one win and two draws.

For their part, the Scottish squad, coached by Brendan Roger, has not known defeat since the continental duel against Lazio at Celtic Park. Since then, the last six matches have been settled with four wins and two draws.

The excitement, therefore, is assured in the second duel that will host our stadium in this Champions League.
