Carrasco’s Belgium says goodbye to the Euro
Yannick Carrasco played the first half of the match, in which a great goal by Nainggolan put the 'Red Devils' ahead, and the Welsh got back in later.
Belgium’s journey in the Euro2016 came to an end this Friday, 1st July, when the 'Red Devils' were defeated 3-1 by Wales in the duel both teams played in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Although the squad of Marc Wilmots went ahead on 13 minutes thanks to a great shot by Nainggolan from outside the box, the British team was able to tie the match before half-time, thanks to Ashley Williams (31'). Later, after visiting the dressing rooms, Hal Robson-Kanu (55') and Sam Vokes (86') culminated the Welsh come back.
Yannick Carrasco, a starter, played the first half of the game, being substituted at the half-time by Fellaini when the score was 1-1.
This defeat leaves only Atlético representative in the Euro, Antoine Griezmann, whose France will play Iceland this Sunday.
