The belgian footballer received his plaque this Tuesday from the hands of our president, Enrique Cerezo.
Yannick Carrasco received this Tuesday morning his commemorative plaque for his 200 official matches played as an Atlético player, from the president of our club, Enrique Cerezo.
The Belgian player reached this figure on January 6 in the match against Rayo Majadahonda, having scored 33 goals and 36 assists in those 200 games. The midfielder arrived at our club in July 2015 and after playing two seasons in the Chinese Super League in 2018 and 2019, he returned in January 2020 to become a key player in winning the league title last season. He gave the assist on Luis Suárez's key goal to come back from the match against Osasuna on the penultimate day and which allowed our team to depend on itself in the last game in Valladolid, where we proclaimed champions. Carrasco is also a fixture on the Belgian national team, with which he has played a World Cup and two European Championships.
