Cadet B commemorated the International Day of Football And Friendship
The players of Juan José Rodríguez exchanged the 'Friendship Bracelet' with the players of CD Leganés.
The Wanda Atlético de Madrid Training Complex hosted this Saturday, 23 April, the celebration of the International Day of Football And Friendship, framed within the Football for Friendship international programme, in which our club is participating for the second consecutive year. An initiative that promotes social values such as respect, tolerance, and friendship among young people, using football as the vehicle for this.
The Sports Director of the Academy, Carlos Aguilera, was Ambassador of the initiative, taking over from Luiz Pereira, President of Honour of Atlético de Madrid B and former Brazilian international. In the preview of the League match between Atlético de Madrid Cadet with CD Leganés, members of both teams exchanged the 'Friendship Bracelet', green - in reference to pitch - and blue - as a symbol of a clean sky-.
