Brilliant win in Seville

Our lads had a stunning performance in the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

Atlético de Madrid imposed their authority in the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán and beat Sevilla 2-5. Antoine Griezmann scored a hat-trick, whilst the remaining goals were scored by Diego Costa and Koke.

Sevilla started dominating the match and Jan Oblak was called into action with a brilliant save to deny the Andalusian side. After the initial scare, our side started to take control of the match and shut down Sevilla's attacks.

In the 29th minute, Costa pressured the Sevilla defense and recovered the ball and subsequently scored the first of the night. Just a few minutes later in the 42nd minute, Griezmann scored his first of the night. The Frenchman sent the ball into the top corner and the Sánchez Pizjuán went quiet.

In the second half our lads kept dominating and in the 51st minute, Costa won a penalty. Griezmann was the man in charge of converting and he beat Sergio Rico to make it 0-3. Our Frenchman was having a brilliant match and 10 minutes after scoring the third, he gave a lovely backheel assist to Koke.

In the final minutes of the match, Griezmann found his hat-trick and celebrated it with the whole team. When the match was dying down, Sevilla scored two goals from two shots and the match ended 2-5.
