Bosz: “Simeone’s work has been incredible”
The Germans held their pre-match press conference on Monday evening at the Wanda Metropolitano Auditorium.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz praised Simeone’s work as our team’s coach during his pre-match press conference on Monday.
“Simeone’s work with the team is incredible. They’re always competing for every trophy, he’s outstanding,” the Dutch coach said.
The Bayer Leverkusen manager also analysed his team’s performance in the Champions League so far.
“We’ve started badly. We shouldn’t have lost to Lokomotiv and we also lost in Turin. If we want to progress, we’re going to have to do well in unexpected matches, and this could be one of them,” Bosz said.
The German club’s midfielder, Julian Baumgartlinger, also shared his thoughts on Tuesday’s game.
“We’re aware of Atleti’s intensity. They have a compact defence. It will be very tough, but we will do everything we can to try to win. We want to prove that we can earn points and we won’t give up,” the Austrian said.
