Big test in first 2022 LaLiga away game

Atleti’s first LaLiga trip of 2022 promises to be a big clash as Simeone’s men face Villarreal away. The game is to kick off at 9pm CET on Sunday.
Our team has started the year well – having earned two wins in two matches. The first, a 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano in the league. The second, a 5-0 success against Rayo Majadahonda in the Copa del Rey round of 32.
Villarreal also won their first LaLiga fixture of 2022 – a big 5-0 victory over Levante. However, they lost 2-1 to Sporting Gijón in the cup in their midweek fixture.
