The goalkeeper will play on loan at at Villareal in the top flight of Spanish football next season.
Atletico Madrid and Villarreal have reached an agreement for the loan of Sergio Asenjo for a season the yellow submarine. The24 year old keeper will look to continue accumulating minutes and experience in the top flight of Spanish football in the 2013/14 season. From the club we wish him good luck for next season.
