Atlético de Madrid drew against Elche in the first leg of the Round of 32 of the Copa del Rey.

Thomas scored the first goal of the match and our lads continued to have numerous chances. Elche’s goalkeeper, Guillermo, made key saves and Vietto sent a shot to the post.

In the second half, Elche equalized the match from the penalty spot. Our players never stopped looking for the second goal, but the knockout round will be decided in the Wanda Metropolitano.
