Atletico delivered the UEFA Europa League Cup
Enrique Cerezo, president of Atletico Madrid, and Gabi, captain of the first team, took the trophy to the city of Amsterdam, host of the final of this seasons competition.
The Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo, and captain of the first team, Gabi, this morning traveled to Amsterdam to deliver the UEFA Cup Europa League, won last season against Athletic Bilbao at the National Stadium in Bucharest.
The trophy, which has been at home in the Calderon throughout this year, has been delivered to the Dutch City Hall, home of the continental championship final that will be played next May 15 at the Amsterdam Arena.
Minutes before the start of the ceremony held in the Beurs van Berlage building, Michel Platini, president of UEFA, chatted for a few minutes with Enrique Cerezo and Gabi, who he personally congratulated for the season Atlético are havin in the National Championship.

Basel, Chelsea, Fenerbahce and Benfica are the teams aspiring to win this season's UEFA Europa League. Four clubs from different nationalities, which for the captain of Atletico Madrid is"good" to which he added his favorite is Chelsea.
