Goals from Jaime (2) and Mario gave the Rojiblancos victory in the final against Palmeiras.
Atlético de Madrid U12 were crowned champions of LaLiga FC FUTURES! The Rojiblancos beat Palmeiras by three goals to one in the final. A brace by Jaime and a goal by Mario gave Atleti a fourth consecutive victory in Orlando following 2022, 2023 and 2024.
The team had a great tournament. In the group stage, they beat Athletic Club (3-0) and Real Madrid (2-1) on Friday before losing 1-0 to Villarreal on the Saturday. Despite the defeat, the Rojiblancos qualified for the knock-outs as group winners. In the quarter-final, Atleti recorded a narrow 2-1 victory over Barcelona. An own-goal and a Mario goal saw us beat Valencia in the semis to progress to the final, in which we beat Palmeiras in Orlando.
