DEAL WITH THE WORLD’S LARGEST MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT PROMOTER

Atlético de Madrid reaches agreement with Live Nation España to bolster its musical offer at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano

This partnership will cement the Riyadh Air Metropolitano’s place as one of Europe’s premier concert venues and will allow for ticket purchases to all events directly through the stadium’s website.

Atlético de Madrid and Live Nation España, the Spanish subsidiary of the world’s largest music event promoter and organiser, have signed an agreement of long-term strategic collaboration for the hosting of live concerts and events at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano and other spaces at our Ciudad del Deporte. The deal, which has an initial duration of ten years with an option to extend, will consolidate our stadium’s position as one of the leading concert spaces in Europe and as the preferred venue in Spain to host the world’s largest artists and shows.

This partnership is born from pre-established connections between the two entities: Live Nation España has also partnered with Atlético de Madrid and Oak View Group (OVG) in Barsento, the joint venture to construct a 20,000-capacity covered music arena next to the Rojiblancos’ stadium that is set to open in late 2030. Together, the Riyadh Air Metropolitano and this new facility will form one of the most complete and powerful entertainment ecosystems in Europe.

One of the highlights of this new deal is the ability to purchase concert tickets directly from the stadium’s digital platform. Starting now, football fans and music lovers can purchase tickets to every event and concert held at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano directly from the stadium’s official website, under the same conditions as the rest of our official sales channels.
