Hyundai Motor and Atlético de Madrid have extended the partnership that we signed in 2018. Our agreement with the Korean company will now run until the end of the 2021/22 season. Hyundai’s logo will continue to be present on the left sleeve of our men's and women's first teams’ shirts.
The Korean car manufacturer will also continue to work closely with our club to create exciting initiatives for our players and fans.
Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, Vice President Marketing and Product at Hyundai Motor Europe, spoke about the agreement.
“Hyundai congratulates Club Atlético de Madrid on a successful season, culminating in its eleventh La Liga title. When we started this journey, we knew that Atletico de Madrid and their fans were unique: they were more than just a team – they were a family. For the past three years, we’ve shared unforgettable memories. We are looking forward to continuing this exceptional journey and extending our partnership with the club and its fans, to enjoy even more incredible moments together," Hofmann said.
Atlético de Madrid’s CCO, Íñigo Aznar, also shared his thoughts on the agreement.
"We are very keen to extend our sponsorship with Hyundai to the coming 21-22 season. After three years together, we have formed a great team, which has become even stronger in these last difficult times. Hyundai has always shown us their support and passion and that has helped us to achieve great things like this year," Aznar said.
