The Atlético de Madrid first team players are now on vacation after wrapping up their final commitment of the season, a friendly match against Alcorcón at the Municipal de Santo Domingo Stadium. This game was held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the club from the south of Madrid which, furthermore, was finishing its first season in the Second Division with the success of clinching their permanence.
The ‘rojiblanco’ first squad will return to training on Monday, July 4, while the club’s first official game, the first leg of the Europa League Play-in Round, will be held on July 28, with the return leg set for August 4.
