Atlético de Madrid and EA SPORTS, the world’s leading video game company, are strengthening their partnership and will continue a successful professional relationship which began in 2017. Thanks to this collaboration, we will continue generating exclusive content through the EA SPORTS FC26 video game, which will go on sale on 26 September.
As a result of close work between both parties, numerous examples of digital content have been created over eight years, delighting all Atlético fans. This innovation had earned them widespread recognition in the sector.
A good example of this happened in the last match our team played at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano against Villarreal. In this match, alongside LALIGA, EA SPORTS announced the ratings of the Atlético de Madrid players in EA SPORTS FC26, which were projected onto the pitch with a laser system, a novel and striking way to reveal them.
With this agreement, Atlético de Madrid and EA SPORTS will continue collaborating in creating digital content and trying to surprise our fans, as we have been doing in the last eight seasons.
