Atlético continue to prepare for the match against Zaragoza with a regenerative session

Borja trains with the group normally

Atlético de Madrid continued to get ready for the match against Zaragoza with a lighter session than in the previous days, with a regenerative training session. The ‘rojiblanco’ players held a video session before the practice in order to study their upcoming opponents, and then took the habitual training pitch.

After starting with some jogging, the ‘rojiblancos’ did 45 minutes of physical work. First, they did some stretching and then were divided into groups for keepaway games. The day’s work was wrapped up with a series of sprints across the pitch under the supervision of Jordi García, the team physical trainer, while a group of four players formed by Godín, Borja González, Mario Suárez and Juanfran, worked out with Miguel Peiró.

The good news of the day was the presence of Borja González with the group after having overcome the sprained ankle he suffered last Sunday with Atlético B against Vecindario.
