Atlético say goodbye to 2017 with a win against Al Ahly
The final game of the year ended in an Atlético win. Kevin Gameiro scored a hat-trick in the second half to give Atleti the win.
The 'Match for Peace' in Alexandria, Egypt ended in an Atlético de Madrid win. All the proceedings from ticket sales will go to the families of the victims of the terror attacks in Egypt.
Al Ahly surprised Atlético and scored the first two goals of the match. Momen Zakaria scored in the 40th minute and Ahmed El Sheikh doubled the lead in the 52nd minute. However, Atlético never gave up and kept looking for the win.
In the second half, Kevin Gameiro scored a hat-trick to turn the match around and give Atlético the victory in their last match of the year.
