Atletico already thinking about the trip to the Pizjuán
Atletico Madrid returned to training after a day and a half of rest awarded by Simeone after the show against Granada. Arda and Tiago did not work with the group.
With an eye on Sunday's match against Sevilla, Diego Pablo Simeone began the week of workouts with a closed session to fully prepare the final stretch of the season.
The Argentine coach arranged for all members of the first group except for Arda Turan, who is working alone to recover from his ankle injury, and Tiago, who suffered another hamstring injury on Sunday. In the absence of the Oliver, Manquillo and Saul Ñíguez, who are away with the under 20 team, the coaching staff participated called on Borja Martinez and Villa, both from the Division Honour youth team.
The training began with stretching exercises and continuous run to prepare the muscles before physical and tactical work that lasted an hour and a quarter.
