Atletico already know the new schedule for the 2013-14 Liga season
After holding the draw at the Royal Spanish Football Federation headquarters in Las Rozas, Atletico Madrid already know the fixtures for the new term. It all begins on August 18th and ends on May 18th.
It's official. The 2013-14 season schedule has been set this morning. After holding the draw at the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, we know the start and end dates of the new season. The league will start on Sunday August 18th and end on Sunday May 18th.
Atletico will kick it off in the league against Sevilla Football Club, on August 18 at the Sanchez Pizjuan. It will end the season at home against the current champions, FC Barcelona, on May 18th at the Camp Nou. Both games are vital in importance, not only for the quality of the opposition but the important moment in which the season will take place.
The first match Atletico will play at home will be in Week 2 against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday August 25th. Special attention is always paid to the exciting derbies between the teams from the capital. The first clash against Real Madrid will be on Sunday September 29th at the Santiago Bernabeu. The second derby of the year will be at the Vicente Calderon on Sunday March 2nd.
