Atleti to play Atlético de San Luis in friendly game
We will play our brothers from Atlético de San Luis at their home – the Alfonso Lastras Ramírez stadium – on Aug. 3 at 12 pm (7 pm Spanish time).
Atleti is to play Atlético de San Luis in a friendly game in the upcoming pre-season. The match is to take place at the Mexican side’s home – the Alfonso Lastras Ramírez stadium – on Aug. 3 at 12 pm (7 pm Spanish time).
This way, we’ll visit our sister club, who have just achieved promotion to the Liga MX, the top flight of Mexican football. Their remarkable achievement took place on May 5, when Atlético de San Luis beat Dorados in the 2019 Clausura. Our sister club had also won the 2018 Apertura.
Thanks to the upcoming friendly game, we’ll get the chance to celebrate the Mexican side’s promotion, as well as preparing the 2019-20 season with an important match.
We’ll also be able to play in Mexico, a country with which we have a very special connection. There’s a very big Atleti community in the American country, and thanks to this game we’ll get the chance to visit them.
