Atleti to face Manchester City in the Coupang Play Series
Our team will play a pre-season friendly against the English side at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
Atleti will take on Manchester City in a 2026/27 pre-season friendly on Sunday, Aug. 9 in Seoul. The match, part of the Coupang Play Series, will be played at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, where in the summer of 2023 – as part of the same competition – we also faced the ‘Cityzens’, whom we defeated 2-1 with goals from Memphis and Carrasco.
This means we will play against both of Manchester’s top teams this summer, as we are also set to face United on Aug. 1 in Stockholm.
