LALIGA | MATCH PREVIEW

Atleti to face Málaga in La Rosaleda

At 4:15 p.m. CET, our side will face the Andalusian side for matchday 23.

Atlético de Madrid will face Málaga in La Rosaleda in what will surely be a difficult away match. Even though the Andalusian side are bottom of the table with 13 points, they'll give it their all in order to try to climb out of the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Atlético de Madrid are second in LaLiga with 49 points. A win would see our side cut the distance from league leaders FC Barcelona to six points, pending their result on Sunday against Getafe. Filipe Luis has recovered from his injury and has been included in the squad list. If he plays, it'll be his first match since December.

Málaga are winless since 10 December and have only won two points from a possible 21. However, despite their poor form, Diego Costa knows the match will be a pesky one.

"It’ll be a tough match. They’re not in a great situation, but we know they’re a good team. In their stadium, they always make it difficult," Diego Costa said to Atléticodemadrid.com. "To win or get a point, we need to give it our all in order to play a complete game."
