Atleti Territory is born: new experiences to feel what we are
A place to enjoy leisure activities and discover our history and values through interactive and immersive experiences in a new space located at the Cívitas Metropolitano.
Atleti Territory is born: a new meeting place for all our fans and visitors who want to feel what we are, get to know the Atlético values, enjoy the passion for our colours and, of course, have lots of fun. Under the name Atleti Territory, all the leisure and entertainment activities that the club offers its fans and visitors will be included, grouped in three categories:
- We Are History
- We Are Family
- We Are Passion
Within the We Are History category, the fans who come to the Cívitas Metropolitano will have the chance to visit the new Atlético de Madrid museum, which will open its doors to the public on Saturday, August 8, as well as to go on a tour inside the stadium.
The new museum covers an area of 1,400 square metres where you will be able to look back over the club's centenary history, from our foundation in 1903 to the present day, in an entertaining and interactive way, as well as being reminded of the characteristic values that define the Atlético de Madrid supporters.
The visitors will immerse themselves in the Atleti feeling and will notice our team's outreach, which has its roots in Madrid but is followed by many fans all over the world. They will also relive all of our successes based on our values of humility, teamwork and sacrifice, as told in first person by current and historical players who will share their experiences. They will get to know the Atlético feeling, passed on from parents to children, and our fans' unique way of being.
The Vicente Calderón stadium will also be present. Those who come to enjoy this experience will be able to sit on an original bench seat from our previous stadium and reminisce about a legendary place for the Red & White family thanks to a virtual reality projection that will leave everyone speechless. A collection of some of our most memorable shirts will be on display, from the classics to the most innovative ones, as well as more than 400 relevant objects from our 117 years of history. Our visitors will even be able to become protagonists by challenging some of the first team players in fun interactive games in which they will show their skills in front of their idols.
All our trophies will be available for you to see up close, as well as many more secrets that will surprise each and every one of you.
In short, a unique space in which many historical objects coexist. You'll cross a time tunnel of unique, relevant and characteristic moments in Atleti history. Touch and interactive screens, binoculars, large projectors, interactive telephone booths, virtual reality and interactive games will make all visitors feel the Atleti history in first person.
Club members in the adult, youth and children categories will benefit from a 50% discount, while junior members will have free access. In all cases it is necessary to present the membership card together with the identity card (or family book in case of minors who do not have an identity card) in order to access the venue.
The general public will be able to purchase their tickets online from Monday, August 3. From the opening, it will also be possible to buy the tickets at the Atleti Territory reception, located right next to the Cívitas Metropolitano official store.
Club members and the general public will be able to choose between a ticket to visit the museum only or a combined ticket for the museum and the Cívitas Metropolitano Tour.
Due to the current health situation, the use of a mask is mandatory to access the venue, where there are disinfectant gel dispensers installed both at the entrance door and in different areas of the tour to safeguard the indications of the health authorities.
Under the We Are Family category, fans will have the chance to celebrate birthday at the Cívitas Metropolitano, as well as other family events and celebrations. Finally, We Are Passion will include other experiences related not only to football but also to music, other sports and leisure and entertainment. Soon, and depending on the development of the current circumstances, the club will progressively announce various initiatives.
