Atleti earned an important 3-1 win at Osasuna on Saturday thanks to a brace from Joao Félix and a late Torreira goal.

The hosts almost scored very early into the game as Gallego headed the ball over the crossbar from close range. Koke answered with a strike from inside the box that was saved by Herrera. The first half as very demanding but we managed to find the breakthrough just before half-time. Vitolo was tripped inside the box and Joao Félix converted in style.

Our team was awarded another penalty at the beginning of the second half, but this time the Portuguese forward struck the post. Seconds later, Correa also hit the post from outside the box in what was an excellent effort. Simeone’s men performed at a high level throughout the second half and were unlucky not to score the second several times. Eventually, it was Joao Félix once again who doubled our lead with just over 20’ to go. Budimir pulled one back for the hosts with 10’ to go, but Torreira – who came on for Joao Félix – netted his first Atleti goal to secure an important 3-1 win.
