Atleti resume LaLiga action with demanding match in Granada
Our team travels to Granada on Saturday for our 14th LaLiga match.
Atleti return to LaLiga action with a trip to Granada, where we will be playing at 6.30 pm CET on Saturday.
Our team travels to Andalusia following the international break and our previous win over Espanyol. Simeone’s men haven’t lost any of the last nine league games and sit third in the standings with 24 points. Saturday’s clash will be the first of the seven matches Atleti will be playing over the next month (five in LaLiga and two in the Champions League).
Up against us will be Granada, who have impressed so far this season. Diego Martínez’s side are eighth in the league with 20 points, tied with Athletic Club. Their success is partly based on their strength at their stadium, where they’ve earned 12 points thanks to wins over Barcelona, Leganés, Osasuna and Real Betis.
Our last match in Granada took place on March 11, 2017, when we earned a 1-0 win.
