Atleti earned a 3-1 win on Wednesday night against Club Brugge at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Our team started the match well, dominating possession and with high intensity. After having a goal disallowed, Griezmann opened the score before the 30 minute mark thanks to a wonderful left-foot finish from inside the box.

However, Club Brugge equalized 10 minutes later with a fantastic goal by Groeneveld.

Filipe Luis came on for an injured Giménez at half time, as the Uruguayan defender had some muscle problems in his thigh. After the substitution, Lucas Hernández made his way to the centre of the defence, having started the game as left back.

Our lads came out strong after the break, and Griezmann scored the second 20 minutes in. The Frenchman once again had a stellar performance.

Koke got the final goal just before the end, thus making it two out of two in the Champions League group stage.
