Atleti look to win third Spanish Super Cup title
Our team gears up to face Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final in Jeddah.
The Spanish Super Cup final is here as Atleti gear up to face Real Madrid on Saturday! Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports City will host the derby at 7 pm CET.
It will be the third time we play Zidane’s side this season, having won 7-3 in New Jersey during our Summer Tour and drawn 0-0 in September at the Wanda Metropolitano in LaLiga.
We will look to win our third Spanish Super Cup title, following our successes in 1985 – against FC Barcelona – and 2014, when we beat Real Madrid.
Our city rivals qualified for the final thanks to a 3-1 victory over Valencia, whereas our team beat Barcelona 3-2 in what was a fantastic comeback. Koke, Morata and Correa scored our semi-final goals.
