Atleti look to qualify for the Europa League quarter-finals

After our 3-0 win in the Wanda Metropolitano, we'll face Lokomotiv Moscow at 5 p.m. CET.

A cold Europa League night awaits in the RZD Arena. Our side will face Lokomotiv Moscow in the RZD Arena for the second leg of the Europa League Round of 32. Kick-off is set for 5 p.m. CET.

The first leg in the Wanda Metropolitano ended 3-0 thanks to Saúl Ñíguez, Diego Costa and Koke's goals. Our side has always progressed whenever we won the first leg 3-0 (four occasions) and to this date, we've never lost in Russia.

However, Lokomotiv will give it their all to turn the tie around in front of their fans in the RZD Arena. Lokomotiv are top of the table in the Russian Premier League with 49 points, eight more than second place Spartak Moscow.

Forecasts show it'll be around -4 degrees at kick-off, but the cold won't stop our lads from giving it their all!

"Cup matches are always complicated and we're going to play with the same enthusiasm as always. We'll have to be prepared for the atmosphere [in the RZD Arena] and the cold in order to seize control of the match," Simeone said. "All the matches we play are important for me."
