Atleti look to keep streak going against Mallorca
Our team looks to earn the third straight LaLiga win as we face Mallorca on Saturday. The game is to be played at the Wanda Metropolitano at 6.30pm CET.
Atleti gear up for a new LaLiga fixture as we host Mallorca on Saturday at 6.30pm CET. Simeone’s men will look to earn the third straight win in LaLiga following the 1-0 success over Osasuna and the 4-1 victory at Cádiz. We’re also unbeaten in the last seven league games and have picked up 10 out of the last 12 points in the competition.
Mallorca have proved they’re a tough side to face. Luis García Plaza’s team are 14th in the LaLiga standings with 16 points – and have only lost one of their last six matches.
The game will of course be played at the Wanda Metropolitano – where we’re unbeaten this season in the league. We have earned three wins and a draw in the last four games at our stadium, and have kept clean sheets in three of them: FC Barcelona (2-0), Betis (3-0) and Osasuna (1-0).
Both clubs met for the last time on July 3, 2020, when we won 3-0.
