MATCH PREVIEW | LEGANÉS - ATLÉTICO DE MADRID

Atleti look to earn the three points in the derby against Leganés

Our team on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. CET visits the Butarque Stadium in the Madrid derby against Leganés on LaLiga Matchday 11.

Following the win against UE Sant Andreu in the Copa del Rey debut, our team is to play Leganés at the Butarque Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m. CET.

The game will be the fifth derby match of the season for Simeone's side and the fourth in LaLiga. Up until now, our team hasn't conceded any goals against the other Madrid teams in the league, and has earned two wins (1-0 against Rayo Vallecano and 2-0 against Getafe) and a draw (0-0 against Real Madrid at the Bernabéu). Furthermore, our team won the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid in August.

In fact, Simeone's side has only lost one of the last 31 LaLiga derbies (21 W, 9D), and has kept 23 clean sheets in the process.

Leganés earned a 2-2 draw against Rayo Vallecano in the Copa del Rey in the week and sit 18th in LaLiga. However, seven out of the eight points that LEganés have earned have been at Butarque, including a 2-1 win against Barcelona.

Our team's last two games against Leganés were 0-0 draws, so today's match will be an interesting challenge for our boys.
