MATCH PREVIEW | ALAVÉS-ATLÉTICO DE MADRID

Atleti look to earn fourth straight away win

Simeone’s men face Alavés away at 2pm CET on Saturday. After winning our previous three away games, our team looks to make it four out of four at Mendizorroza.

Atleti take on Alavés away on Saturday at 2pm CET. Having won the previous three games on the road, Simeone’s men will look to make it four out of four at Mendizorroza. It will be the second of three straight away matches that we play, after our 2-1 midweek win at Getafe and next Tuesday’s Champions League fixture at AC Milan.

Our team earned an epic last-minute win at Getafe in the previous LaLiga fixture thanks to a Suárez brace. The victory meant we’re now second in the league standings with 14 points.

Alavés, on the other hand, are yet to pick up their first LaLiga points, although they have played one less game than their rivals as their fixture against Villarreal was postponed.

Our last match at Alavés was on Jan. 3 – when we won 2-1 thanks to the goals from Llorente and a last-minute winner from Luis Suárez.
