Atleti look to continue positive streak as we host Valladolid

We arrive at the game after our 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, which marked a year without losing at the Wanda Metropolitano. Our numbers at our stadium over that period are 15 wins and six draws in 21 games – 15 of which were LaLiga fixtures. Our last league game at home was our 1-0 win against FC Barcelona on Nov. 21, whereas our previous match in the competition was our 1-0 victory at Valencia.
Valladolid are also in good shape, having picked up seven of the last nine points at stake. In fact, Sergio González’s side earned their first win on the road in their last away game, as they beat Granada 1-1 at the Nuevo Los Cármenes.
