Atleti host LaLiga leaders Real Sociedad

The Wanda Metropolitano hosts another big clash on Sunday as Atleti take on the current LaLiga leaders – Real Sociedad. Kick-off is scheduled at 9pm CET.
Our team faced Liverpool in the last game, in what was a thrilling clash that we ultimately lost 3-2. Atleti played a great match despite going 2-0 down and being down to 10 men since early in the second half. In LaLiga, the last fixture we played was on Oct. 2 – when we beat Barcelona 2-0 at home thanks to the goals from Lemar and Suárez. The win allowed us to stay unbeaten at the Wanda Metropolitano in the league.
On the other hand, Real Sociedad are the current LaLiga leaders with 20 points in nine games – three more than Atleti, who have played one less match. The Basque side beat Mallorca in the previous clash thanks to a last-minute goal from Lobete. Their record on the road is also very positively – having picked up two wins, a draw and a defeat. They drew 1-1 at Getafe in their last away game.
The last time we faced Real Sociedad was on May 12. That day, we won 2-1 at the Wanda Metropolitano thanks to the strikes from Suárez and Correa – a huge step towards the LaLiga title.
