MATCH PREVIEW | ATLÉTICO DE MADRID - REAL MADRID

Atleti gear up for Madrid Derby

A big derby match is here as our team faces Real Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano at 9 pm CET on Saturday.

The Wanda Metropolitano is ready to host a new Madrid Derby. Atleti gear up to face Real Madrid on Saturday at 9 pm CET in LaLiga Matchday 7 in front of a full house.

“I’m expecting the atmosphere to be electric. The fans have been incredible so far, and I feel they’re going to be even more vocal against Real Madrid. I’m expecting a lively atmosphere tomorrow,” Trippier said ahead of the match.

It will be our second game of the week following Wednesday’s 2-0 win at Mallorca. Our team currently have 13 points, one less than Real Madrid, who earned a midweek win over Osasuna. Zidane’s side have won their last three matches and are currently top of the LaLiga standings with 14 points.

The last time we met with our city rivals, we won 7-3 in the International Champions Cup in the summer. Diego Costa (4), João Félix, Ángel Correa and Vitolo were our goalscorers in New Jersey.
