Our team enjoyed a strong start and had several good chances inside the first 25 minutes, mainly through Lemar, Morata and Saúl, but Gudiño made some fine saves to deny our players. That changed, though, when Marcos Llorente was sent off and our team was down to ten men for over an hour.
Simeone changed the whole line-up at half-time. Koke, who had just come on, forced Gudiño to another great save following an excellent free-kick. One hour in, Villanueva was sent off after picking up two yellow cards. Our young players tried their best to take the lead but the game ultimately finished 0-0 and was decided on penalties. Adán saved the last two strikes to earn our team a 5-4 win.
