Our team kicked off the game in spectacular fashion, and Felipe also scored three minutes in. Trippier swung the ball in and the Brazilian’s header was met by a fantastic save by the keeper. Later on, Lodi tried his luck from outside the box, but his shot was once again saved in style by Rubén Blanco.
Atleti continued creating chances after the break and the away keeper was once again forced to make a great save after Koke struck from outside the box. We kept pushing throughout the second half, and were very close to scoring on several occasions, mainly through Morata and Lodi. In the end, though, the score was 0-0 and both teams picked up one point from the clash.
