Arias to join Bayer 04 Leverkusen on loan
The 28-year-old arrived at our club ahead of the 2018/19 season. He will now pursue a new challenge in the Bundesliga this season.
Atlético de Madrid and Bayer 04 Leverkusen have reached an agreement over the loan of Santiago Arias. The Colombian will now pursue a new challenge at the Bundesliga club during the 2020/21 season.
The 28-year-old joined us from PSV Eindhoven ahead of the 2018/19 season. In these two years, he has played 51 games (39 in LaLiga, five in the Copa del Rey, one in the Spanish Super Cup and six in the Champions League), scored one goal and provided three assists.
