Arda returned to action after his ankle injury
The Turkish midfielder Arda Turan played 25 minutes in the match against Deportivo in Riazor, returning to the pitch after being injured on 31 March in the clash against Valencia.
After more than a month without donning the shirt of Atletico, Arda Turan returned to play for Atletico against Deportivo in Riazor in a game which saw Simeone’s men certify their place in nest season UEFA Champions League. The midfielder started the match on the bench but Diego Pablo Simeone gave him the nod in the 65thminutes replacing Uruguayan Cristian Rodriguez.
The number 10 show signs of his quality every time he received the ball demonstrating that he has completely left behind the problems that had kept him out until he rejoined the group last week when he received the all clear after injuring his ankle in a challenge with Joao Pereira.
By participating in the match tonight, he makes it 28 games played in the league this season, starting 24 of them and getting four goals. The Turk is in good shape to end the season and help his teammates achieve the objectives.
