Agüero returns to the squad after sitting out his suspension last week
Antonio López, Fran Mérida and Valera are left off the list
Atlético de Madrid held its final training session of the week where Atlético B usually play their home games with a practice that was open to the media for the first half-hour. Quique Sánchez Flores put the finishing touches on the preparation for the match against Real Sociedad at the Majadahonda Sports Complex, which was surrounded by plenty of fans eager to see their team.
The training lasted approximately an hour-and-a-half. Footballers Borja González, Pulido and Alberto Perea practiced with the reserve squad. Antonio López did alternative work, first in the gym and then on the playing field with physical trainer Óscar Pitillas. José Hermosa, from Atlético B, trained with the first squad.
After the session, the ´rojiblanco’ manager gave the 18-player matchday roster for Sunday’s contest at Estadio Vicente Calderón. The big novelty is Agüero, who returns after sitting out his one-match suspension for accumulation of yellow cards. Antonio López, Fran Mérida and Valera will be out.
